How to Start a Private Investigation Business in New York (Step by Step)


Step 1: Meet the Experience Requirements

New York requires a minimum of 3 years of full-time qualifying investigative experience. You must also be at least 25 years old, a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and hold a high school diploma or GED.
